Default 9800GTX cooler
Hey guys , under full load at stock speeds my 9800 is hitting 80c using furmark , ati tool it hits 75c


overclocked it hits 83c before crashing....

Im running SLI and I have a XFI sound card in one of my two PCI slots...

please recomend me a good cooler to drop the temps , is this any good and compatible with a 9800? :

yes , but my setup is diffferent, I have SLI and my PSU is mounted at the bottom!~!!!

Hey What's up I just got my Thermalright HT-30 GT today and dropped my temperatures to 37C! it was around 60C+. I am very pleased with this. I am going to overclock it. If you werent SLI I would definitely suggest this cooler.

I know that the Zalman VF1000 is smaller and works with 9800GTX, trust me i did lots of research on this hehe

use rivatuner to up the fan speed. that would be the cheapest thing you could do

will the vf1000 fit in my case??? , and will their be space for my sound card etc???

ALSO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN the vf1000 and GV1000?

Those with SLI will have to pass, as this cooler edges over the top of the card, getting in the way of many SLI bridges (although a ribbon-cable SLI bridge should be fine)
