How well do you think this will perform? The tower part of the heatsink is big enough for an 80 or 92 mm fan.

You should edit this thread to show what temps people are getting with different CPU heatsinks. We all can find stats about GPU heatsinks so it would truly be unique. It can also be another fun project to keep you busy during the summer :P

nice! maybe i should try it for my 8800GT, it gets pretty hot and i have the extra hs/f. i just have to buy some mx-2 (the stock thermal pad is still on it, but its garbage)

Yeah. It's sad that my phone takes better pictures than my dedicated camera.
![]() Anyway, I tore the whole thing apart, and I'm trying to rig it up with bolts instead of zip-ties. I hope I can figure this one out.

Ghetto coolers are always in style, especially in tough economic times. Also, I almost have that Cooler ready to go on a 9600GT. I'll post pics once I get it milled down enough to zip tie down. Come on people, post your ghetto cooling too!
