Depends of if you intend to go SLI or not.

In order for single card:

Thermalright HR-03 GT (with an active fan on it)

Accelero S1 with active fan

Thermaltake Duorb

Zalman VF1000


the only disclaimer to the above order is that the thermalright HR-03 GT and the Accelero S1 will not work in SLI configs due to their size (HR-03 takes 3 slots, Accelero is too high for SLI bridge).

I have used a pair of thermaltake Duorbs on 8800GT in SLI with excellent results, mid 30's C idle, mid 40's load.

The thermalright and Accelero will shave a few degrees off that.

the hr-03 works in sli doesnt it? the top card has the hr-03 above it, the bottom card has the hr-03 below it?

yes it should fit in SLI, but I'm not sure about room for a fan...

the accelero is awesome for me, and it can fit two 120mm fans.
