i don't hear my duorb at all... though my apt.. is a windtunnel... but even BEFORE that, its very quiet...
ok.... lets say that you do think its loud... but you have a fan controller. cut off the molex and add on 3 pin fan connector... thats what i did, now i can use my controller if i ever think its loud, but i really doubt that would happen. it is a suggestion though.

Its not that noisy compared to stock cooling fan which is extremely loud.
