OMG it worked!!! rivatuner just made everything soo quiet! Im soooo happy!!!! im going to buy those dampers now as well.... thanks guys!

What kind of idle temp is good? with it 100% its about 55C and with it down to 45% but only for 2D stuff and dead silent its 58-59... And i just put it to 100% for High 3D performance and 75% for Low 3D performance...

idle temps don't matter much (unless they're abnormally high like 80c+)

load temps are what matter

the good old 6600gt to bad i burned my one(more then 1.7v on core is a no go). i had a vc700u on it, very nice and quite. i remember someone around here having a cpu fan fitted on it an broke his card in 2 pieces.

btw 60 idle is kinda high ;o i had mine running at 36 idlebut that was around 30-40% fan speed and no vmods. a 100% fan speed dindt make a difference to me. these things need a very good airflow
