Xigmatek BattleAxe
Will it work with my G80, 8800GTS 640?
I read reviews saying it worked with the 8800GTX, but I am not familiar if that is the same G80 core and such, and if it will mount. Xigmatek's site is down right now. So I can't do research through that method. Also, does any know how well the Battle Axe does? I am considering getting it cause this card does run a little warm.

Newegg's specs say that they fit any 8800 series... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179234 This thread from XS says they used it for the G80 So yes, I'm pretty sure its good for the G80 8800GTS

Only thing with that battle axe is that you can forget sli with that. It takes up 3-4 slots.

(Along with most of that rig, cause its getting rebuilt) But I'm just going for high end cards. Good cooling and such. And forgetting SLi and Xfire till Lucid Hydra or something with that kind of power comes out.

I'm getting this cooler after I saw this thread, lol. Does it come with thermal paste pre applied like the accels1 rev. 2? I have a tube of as5, that will work for gpu's right?
