I just got to putting my new duorb cooler onto my XFX 8800gt Alpha, and found there is a bit of an issue getting the cooler to fit for some reason, not sure if it is because mine is a newer version or what, but there is a line of capacitors that will hit the cooler, so i had to bend the cooler a bit to get it to fit, so if you have a newer xfx 8800gt alpha and you are thinking about getting this cooler just watch your self and make sure you dont break any of the mounting bolts.

are the xfx cards a reference design? ive been trying to work out if a standard full cover water block will fit! its not that version in the link, its the earlier one with the bigger cooler
some sites are saying it is a reference design with the exception of the colour and cooler, other forum posts are saything things like this op, that coolers dont always fit |
