Here's a pic of the two extra holes I had to drill in one of the fans, just so you can get the idea.
 This is how they look mounted  Here's the space between them on the board  Here's my X-Fi XtremeGamer mounted in the PCI slot between them

Drilling the holes doesn't look too bad, it looks like I can figure out the mounting by myself once I have the parts. Referring to the Pics above: That does indeed look like a very good solution. It might even be thinner that the DuOrb!

Yep, I went with T-Rads.
They arrived yesterday, and I am very pleased with them. Hopefully I can get them installed tomorrow, and then I will report back. Thank you everyone who helped me!
