Hmm. Well, I almost always have the TV running, in the summer I have an AC running, background noise doesn't bother me much - I use headphones.

But I've heard loud fans in cases.. and if they're too loud.. they're really, really annoying.

What would you recommend as enough for an Ultra, then?

Right now it's idling at ~50C. Not overclocked at all beyond the stock "superclock".

And Marin, as for the HR-03... I have heard very good things about that cooler. Little more expensive, I'll probably pay over $60 after shipping + a fan. Worth it if I'm serious about OC'ng the 8800 Ultra though?
