One of the reasons I ask is that I use a Tech Station (as you can see in my sig) and so there is NO noise filtering at all. At the same time, the air flow is of course.. fantastic... the inside of my case is generally the same temperature as my room, which is pretty low.

So, is it REALLY loud? If so, I might want to get a fan controller and drop down the temp, or simply get a quieter cooler.
Terrible choice for an 8800 Ultra.

I doubt it's 46dba since they weren't louder than my Medium Yate Loons.

I have 2 DuOrbs in an Antec Sonata III. It was a silent case... was.


These things are just way to loud. They cool very good... I had 20c temp drops. I also have a fan controller and molex to fan cables on their way.
