Default Gtx 260+ 55nm Runs Very cool

So ive recently got a new GTX260+(216)(55nm) for free . When it arrived i took off the heat sink and applied some MX-2 to it. Then i popped it into my system and loaded up windows. i checked the temps for the card in GPU-z and wow, it idles at 37C and under load goes up to around 54C and this was under 40% fan. This is pretty amazing as this is one huge card and uses alot of power.
When i started to OC it to my sig clocks:690/1210/1448 it only went up to 61C Load. I turned the fan up to 70% and the temps started to drop and stopped at around 52-53C now thats amazing. With the power consumption of this card i am really impressed!
EDIT* Ambient:24C

Did you just put a rice sized drop in the middle and then close it up?
