The only thing I have found to work reliably is thermal adhesive. The tape etc. usually is not strong enough.

I used the tape on my 3870's and 4870's and it holds very well...

I too use thermal tape on my RAM sinks..works just fine.

hmm, I just tried it on my card and it didn't work well at all. I also tried it on a 2900 Pro and they fell off. It must be me. I either am using lousy tape (from ebay and petra's iirc) or I did a poor job preping the area.

Also, to clarify, I was refering to the tape applied to old sinks and not the tape that comes on them new. Thanks for the tip Duckie, I will try that when I get a new card this year.
