Some nice results there. Glad your happy with them!

Might want to turn down the fans a bit. I would let them go as low as they can until you hit about 70C

I know your pain..... I had an HR-03 Plus and switched back to the stock cooler (needed the space for SLI). Cooling those RAM chips has given me so much trouble... lol.

Haven't tried gaming yet but Im sure Crysis temps wont ever get close to Atitool temps. I was hoping that the HDT heatpipe design of the battleaxe would work really well with the huge g80 chip IHS and it really did. Dropped about 20C load temps.
Awesome!

With the stock cooler I get about the same temps as you. About 5C more or so across the board with SLI

When I had the HR-03 Plus, my idle was ~40C and peak load in ATItool was ~50C. It's a monster. But that's with a GTX though, not an Ultra.

Glad to see you can keep that beast cool.

Just tried 720 core / 1566 shader / 1156 ram.

ATI tool peaked at 60C, really good for ambient temp of 73F / 23.7C.

50C load? Hmm I was thinking about putting more powerful fans on this thing. The heatpipes/heatsink felt really warm to the touch just from 10 min of atitool.

On a sidenote when I was shopping for the Battleaxe at my local micro center I was looking around in the heatsink deparment. After finding the battleaxe I spent some more time checking out all the various stuff MC offered and to my suprise I found several boxes of...HR-03 Plus!!!

Too bad MC was selling them for $69.99 a pop, otherwise I would've probably picked it up. Weird thing is Microcenter doesn't even list it on their site that they still have several HR03+ in stock; they are so hard to find now on the internet.
