5C is not 41F... Example: 80C = 176F 75C = 167F Thats a 9F difference with 5C...

Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

So you're assuming that the temperature of the card is 5C, in which case 41F would be correct. But we aren't talking about a constant temperature, we're talking about a decrease in 5C, which is 9F, not 41F

It's not as simple as "so many degrees in C = so many degrees in F." They're scales that require formulas to figure out the exact conversion of specific temperatures.
Celsius to Fahrenheit: [Tf] = [Tc] × 9⁄5 + 32 Fahrenheit to Celsius: [Tc] = ([Tf] − 32) × 5⁄9 Tc = Temperature in Celsius Tf = Temperature in Fahrenheit

Yes, that temperature conversion. But that does not mean if something changes by 5^C it changes by 41^F as per your originally post.

You know what you just did? You just discovered that if the temperature is 41F that equals 5C! Good job! lol
32F-32=0 * 5/9 Oh would you look at that...32F equals 0C! lol

We're talking about an increase of 5c, not a total temperature of 5c. 41f would be correct if it was the latter.
