Best way to find out is to just do it. It won't void your warranty anyway.
But I guess you should see a 2-3 degrees drop. Not sure though

5ºC = 41ºF

lets put you in a room @ 60c and then up the temps of that room by 41ºF, its now 104ºF in the room.

It was ice cold in the room, but now its like texas heat. So you'll just sit in the room like nothing changed? 5ºC is a huge difference.

So you're telling me that you can somehow feel the heat from the card itself?

Sure you can feel a difference of 5C if it was ambient temps, but its not. This is a graphics card we are talking about, not room temperatures, a 5C drop in your graphics card will not decrease your room temperature at all.. you wouldn't even notice any change

I replaced the stock paste on my gtx260 with AS5, but there wasn't a huge difference. Maybe 2-3c.

Just so you're aware, that made no sense.

wow dude totally wrong.....1 degree Celsius is approximately 9/5 degrees Fahrenheit, the scales have different zeroes, 0 degrees Celsius is 32 degrees Fahrenheit....5 degrees Celsius = 9 degrees Fahrenheit

Computer chips generally have a lot wider range of operating temps than human beings do. That comparison just isn't apt.

wow, you are a retard....it was an analogy. 5ºC is a huge freaking difference, that means your card is running 41ºF hotter! You don't get this analogy, how?

LOL! Go back to school, pretty please?

Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

So 41ºF-32=9 * 5/9 = 5ºc
