Default XFX 9800GT after market cooler that fits. XFX 9800GT Owners PLZ
I just tried to intall the TT DuOrb and it DOES NOT fit an XFX 9800gt, The thing coming off the back plate and the capasitors on the right will not allow you to install it.

I need somone who has this EXACT card with an after market cooler that fits.

In order for it to fit from the base (heatsink touching chip) to the bottom of the heat sink has to be 3\4" tall.

I need to get it right this time so Im not wasting more money sending another part back.

hmmm thats odd i have a evga 9800GT with a TT Duorb and it fits fine.

this says that the 8800gt will fit and i thought that the 9800 was just a renamed 8800, so if someone else can support me on this i think it should fit its a kicken cooler I had one on my 9800 gtx it was awesome

You have an EVGA I have an XFX. This is the problem I am running into, XFX has done somthing and this stuff wont fit.

OK funny how a day can change, I woke up and by hdd had a malfuntion so I have been dealing with that all day. Then the TT DuOrb gets hear and I cant get it to fit. I am about to give up and then I say to myself "give it one more shot". I look at the TT again an noticed there are 2 differnt typs of screws. Ones with but bolts on them and ones with smaller bolts on them. I try all for smaller bolts apply a little pressure and wouldnt you know it the thing fits like a glove!

On top of that I just fixed my HDD.

Crazy.

I knew it was the smaller bolts since they did a mistake saying to use the bigger ones. Glad to help.
