Hi mate. I now have a GTX280 instead of my GTX260.
Was thinking of getting this and using the EVGA voltage tuner. Do you think you can hit higher OC's with this? The 1515 Shader is fine in some games but not in others. Would like to add a little more juice to stablize this.

especially with your SLI set up. I've been itching to pull the trigger on a pair of these but grow a bit leery when people start talking hacksaws and videocards in the same thread

When it comes to oc'ing in general I would say that yes, you probably will be able to rise the gpu core a few notches without having to worry about instability issues in certain games. I think the physical limit of the gpu itself will be more of an issue, meaning that the temps wont be all that high when it starts to crash. Maybe the EVGA voltage tuner will help with this, but I havent tried that so you'll have to search around. Ram wise, as you can see I did a custom solution with this cooler, so I'm really not that sure if it helps with that. Hope I answered your question. Cheers. Quote:

My max stable shader OC barely changed from the cooler alone. However, it did give me the temperature headroom to vmod the card, afterwhich I was able to bump all clocks a bit.

Just got an e-mail from Thermalright USA via Tiawan with the bad news:
"I found that your card is only compatible with the HR-03 GTX. The T-RAD2 GTX will not fit your 65nm card only 45s" Looks like I'll be simply upgrading case fans edit** and No, I have no idea what they mean about "45s" . My guess 55s
