Default 9800 GT overheats?

I have XFX9800 GT and its running at 60~65C idle on 70% fan speed, and about 70~80C on 70% fan speed when in game....I know its nearly summer and probably cause it is. but is it normally tho?

Try, reseating it, that usually helps, and apply AS5 to the gpu. Just half a rice grain, and the cooler will even out the rest by itself.

Also what case are you using, and is the airflow in it good?

Default My XFX 9800 gt

Mine gets not hot but shuts down 45c on three different mainboards. Power Supplies Changed. GPU fan speed makes no difference. Going to send back to XFX. Can't use it.
