I am trying to find a GPU cooler for the sparkle NVidia card. I can't find any on TigerDirect.ca that states that they are compatible with this card. Anyone know where I can find one in Canada? Thanks

Cant say it'd be worth it for a 9400GT, I just grabbed a 9500GT for $30 yesterday at microcenter and even overclocked to the max it only has 32 sp's and the 9400 only has 16 I believe. You can buy a card 3 times better then that for $60 (hd 3850), coolers are usually at least $30. usd ;]

Even though my card is 1GB? It at idle is at around 48 C and at load is ~60 C. So my passive 80mm fan would be fine with the factory heat sinks?

yea, the 1gb is usually clocked a lil slower then the 512mb versions. you would be better to put the money towards a new card, if you're a nvidia person the 9600GTs should be around $60 soon. And if you look around for 1 day sales you could probably find one pretty easily, microcenter had a 9600GT for $70 last week.

Temps are fine on that card. You don't need aftermarket cooling.

Don't spend more than $10 on an aftermarket heatsink for it. Check here for some: http://www.dealextreme.com/products....vga%20heatsink http://www.sourcingmap.com/cooler-co...-987_1527.html

also the ddr2 is only going to go so high, no matter how chilled it is. if the memory modules are exposed you could pick up memory heatsinks for like $10
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ram%20heatsink and if you went that route you could always remove and reuse later on another card.

Just trying to figure out if I need a fan to cool the temps, or if the temps are fine. I don't really want to OC this if I can help it for now. Will pick up a couple of good NVidia SLI cards later down the road.
