Default The Thermalright HR-03-RevA GPU Cooler

InnoGF8800GT-512MB & The Thermalright HR-03-RevA GPU Cooler

The Thermalright HR-03-RevA Parcel arrives from the USA ,
(Thanks to MaVoK,[OCForums] for his speedy delivery)

The Thermalright HR-03-RevA GPU Cooler unpacked on the Table

The Thermalright HR-03-RevA GPU Cooler Contents and Mounting Hardware and Ram Sinks

The Thermalright HR-03-RevA GPU Cooler, closer look

My Inno -GF8800GT 512MB Graphics Card Opened up,
The First thing I notest with this one, compaired to others I have seen around is the fact the Cooling pads on the Heatsink are not half stuck to Ram Chips.
This is due to the Silica Release pads used in the Inno GPU,s, wasnt all that dusty either considering had it for just over a year.

Time to now Clean of the Ramchips and VRM,s for the installation of the Ram Heatsinks.
Also need to clean and re-apply Thermaltape to Heatsinks

Cleaned all the Ram Cips and VRM,s with Acetone and also washed off with Isopropyl Alchohol

Ramsinks all on and made some Heatsinks from an old AGP GPU heatsink, cut down to size,

Closer View of Ram Sinks and VRM Heatsinks

First attempt the Ramsinks fell off after 20mins, so trying a different Thermaltape.

Have to reclean again,,,,

Ahh this time a success they are stuck,,using Sekisui #5760 Thermal Tape
(thanks to MadMan007 [OCForums] for the Thermal Tape)

Time to put some Thermal Paste on and mount the HR-03-RevA Cooler.

Also added ThermalTake Smart Cool Fan11 , for better cooling.

It certainly is Beastly looking all mounted on my Motherboard,

Another View inside,s of Case,

Overall Temps have Dramatically dropped from Idle Temps Stock Cooling @ 49C to a cool 30 C
Load Temps are Stock Cooling @ 65-70C now are @34-36C

Sweet looking GPU cooler.

But seriously...why is your dust such a sickly brown? Do you live in the desert or something?

This cooling looks sweet and powerful.
I shall soon get one for myself as well since my stock fan broke.

He's probably a smoker.

Looks good! Can you get larger fans to attach to it?
