Default 8800 ram sinks

Hey you guys know if it would be alright to run my 8800gtx with a d-tek fuzion gfx v2 only without any ramsinks for a couple a days? Or would they get too hot?
Also do you guys know of any place where I can get some ramsinks for my 8800 that is cheaper than this
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swmcsmccokit.html
I don't care if its a full block or individual sinks like the ones mentioned in the link above.

EDIT: Heres some pictures after I removed the cooler and cleaned the card.

I'm about to get some pictures of the card with the sinks up now.

EDIT 2: Here are the pictures with the sinks installed. One has flash and one doesn't.

I can't install the gpu block yet because I'm still waiting for the brackets to arrive but I promise pictures of it installed later on.

I wouldn't, but I doubt it will kill the card.

Can you tell us if those sinks stay on?

Last time I used them, i found the thermal tape was not good and they fell off after a day or so.

Unfortunately I have to wait till monday or so to test them. (Still waiting for the g80 backplate for the waterblock). But I heard that they replaced the tape with some better tape cause of all of the complaints. But anyway I'll get back to this like monday I guess.

Alright, I removed the stock cooler and the thing was almost dripping with thermal paste. I cleaned that off and the ripped thermal pads off. I'm in the process of installing the sinks, so far they stick on pretty well(I held them on for about 10-15 seconds with some pressure), I'm gonna let it set overnight and start it up tomorrow.
I'll also have pictures of the card in a bit.
