I use my notebook mainly for light gaming and with some demanding games such as counter strike source(GPU is a 6150GO)it gets too hot and gets downclocked to lower the temps so i'd like to put the GPU fan speed to 100 percent the whole time and not just when the GPU gets loaded.

With my Gateway FX laptop with 8800gts there is no way to control the fan speed. I can overclock it, but can't adjust fan speed with any program.
I advice to you is that if you think your laptop is overheating or just getting kinda hot, invest in a really good laptop cooler.

I think EVGA Precision should work and set the fan speed to AUTO...
Although you can just download Ntune which is similar but it's worth a try... EVGA Precision is what I would go for first then Ntune second.

I have only just got my 9800gt and the driver CD installed Vtune for me. Shouldn't that work? Iam sure that you could get a download mirror for it somewhere.
