No I wasn't ignoring the other stuff to setup a loop. My comment on cost was related to an earlier post where he stated...

ahhh, dang it! =[ And water cooling blocks for the card are $100-130 each. =[

I was just letting him know there were cheaper WC options than what he quoted.

Honestly, I don't think it'd be worth the added cost for Tri-SLI. SLI GTX260's are plenty. He'd probably see more gains from overclocking that CPU some more (or get a Q9550) than he would from adding another GTX260.

Out of curiosity though, what's keeping you from running them in Tri-SLI? If you don't have any other add-in cards, they should all fit on that 790i. Unless the bottom card overlaps the bottom of the board and you have a small case or something, and if that's the case, you should get a better case anyway, as those GTX260's in Tri-SLI would need some GOOD airflow.
Ah, im running a wireless card (cant do wired at my appartment =\ ), and soon a raid card, I was going to upgrade to a bored with 4pci-e. but i know its really stupid cause i can get a usb wireless card but id rather spend $150 on something then $50 for a usb dongle or well money on watercooling then getting a usb dongle.. usb really bugs me for some reason >.<

but ya, decided to wait on tri-sli and keep the card on storage until i get a new motherboard (extended with 7pcie) or watercooling

In all honesty, that 2.58GHz Q6600 would bottleneck Tri-SLI GTX260's anyway. Definitely put the money to better use elsewhere in your rig.

Get a q9550 instead. e8400 won't be much of an upgrade. But maybe I'm wrong of course

Unless you need the quad, you'll be fine with the dual.
