Default Thermal Paste for 8800GT

I'm thinking of putting OCZ Freeze on my cpu when I get my other parts but I might be getting a 8800 GT from a friend for free and I'm wondering if I can just use the OCZ Freeze for the GPU or should I get some other paste for it.

He claims it's overheating and I presume it's gotten a lack of contact, noise profile or the fan is going bad.

I used AS5 and it worked fine. Dont put it on the memory though, make sure you use thermal pads.
