Just gotta say this is a big W T F
__________________The GTX 285 install PDF from the AC website shows you install 1 heatsink (the fat one) and 3 thermal pads ONLY. What? There are 4 vertical RAM spots on the left, 6 on the top and 6 on the right. ALL of which had thermal gunk on them with the stock cooler. Im supposed to only put thermal pads on the top and bottom RAM of the left group? And then put that big thermal plate on top of RAM chips with no thermal pads? All the other RAM chips are just on open air???? Im lost. Anyone done this yet who can tell me what to do? Or have any photos?

http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...-xtreme-gtx280 And look at the very first customer review- it is answered by QuietPC, and there is a link that shows you exactly what to remove. I hope this is the problem, because I havent even gotten that far yet! I ordered the thermalright 285 heatsink kit because I refuse to just remove all the heat protection provided and run the fan at 80 or 100% to compensate.

If you want the memory and VRMs sinked, you've got to do it yourself.
