Default How to check vrm temps on a GTX 285?
Just installed a accelero xtreme 280 on my gtx 285- running idle at 37, and load 46 vs 65 and 89.

Kind of a nice improvement there.

BUT! I did also install heatsinks from the thermalright 285 kit, and used ceramique instead of the gunk provided by AC.

But anyways, I wonder what my vrm temps actually are. How can I check?

I think GPUz has a reading that tells you. I could be wrong though.

Hi Anth. I dont think there is a sensor on the 285. I searched quite a bit around recently, and I couldnt find anything about the 285 vrm temps showing up in anything. Its NOT working in rivatuner, and like you said, everest doesnt show it either.

By Vrm do you mean PCB temps? If so EVGA Precision tells you the temps of it.

None of the 55nm video cards have the built in sensors I believe.... except the 295.

None of the programs listed in this thread will read the VRM temps of a GTX 275/285.

Also, PCB/ambient is NOT the VRM temp.
