So, I thought I was fine overclocking my two GTX 280's to 700/1506/1240, but when I play Crysis, my temps are hitting the 70's and the 80's and I'm getting artifacts. What can I do to cool these two cards that are so close together, other than downclocking them? Is there anything? Thanks.

Turn the GPU's fan speed up. Or, do you have a fan for the extra bracket in the 1200? Put that by the GPUs and it'll cool them down a bit.
Your problem isn't that overclocking them made them way hotter, its that overclocking makes them unstable at lower temps than stock clocks.
