stock cooling on the 320/640's are crap. mine ran hot to even pumped up 100% on the fan.
then i installed ARCTIC COOLING ACCEL X8800 Fluid Dynamic VGA Cooler and it made a WORLD of a difference. ... but make sure you have the room for it, the cooler is much longer then the card.

Temps at idle 50-68c, 3hrs of Gaming - 89c.
Temps after install Idle 43c, 3hrs of Gaming 49c. still using this card today(well not on this crappy P4 Gateway with a Radeon 9550 LOL)
last time i saw them they were on ebay for 50.00.
i bought mine at newegg 9/2008
