holy crap, i turned my fans up to 100% just to see how loud it was and its actually louder than the 2 Scythe Ultra Kaze fans i have running

the videocard fan. you only have one card i thought you had 2 =b. still you wont hear it after a couple of months. your ears will be immune to nvidia fans

I have profiles set in precision and when I am gaming I turn them to 100%, when at desktop I kick them down. Running them at 100% won't hurt them and look at it this way, cheaper to replace a fan than a melted GPU!

gotcha, yeah it doesnt bother me, just thought it weird for them to be louder than my other fans. I usually leave mine on auto so it does what it wants, lol

Keeping the card cooler also reduces the amount of power it uses and increases its lifespan, so it's a good idea to turn it up to 100% when you leave your PC on overnight to download something, etc.

The fans are made to run full speed...so by running them slower you're just extending their advertised lifespan.


Full Speed = Normal Speed = Bleeding ear drums.
