Talking bfg9800gtx+ 1gb SLI cooler needed (little room)

Hey everyone. I am in the market for a set of coolers for my bfg9800gtx+ 1gb videocards. They are in SLI and there is no slot between them so space is an issue. Sound is not an issue as the whole computer screams as is. I would like the highest cooler possible that i can fit between them without going water . let me know what you all think as all help is greatly appreciated

-Dan

would drop down to 8x speed, block the on/off, restart and the error lcd so i decided to keep it squished. My temps are not horrid. with auto fan settings (40%) the cards are at 52 and 48. with 100% they are at 43 and 39. maxed usage it got to mid 60's which still isnt horrid but i am an Air Cooling freak so anything i can do to drop temps i'll try

Pretty sure the middle is the 8x.

Either way, 9800GTX's won't saturate a 8x.

As for the OP, It'd be silly to waste any money on them, especially +$100..

You could sell the cards, and use your cooler money to get a 4890 will will meat or beat the performance you have now. Depending on the resolution, game and settings.

They would be a LOT cooler if you ran them in slots 1 and 3.
I know it's not what you asked, sorry.

^^lol no worries. i am switching to a new case tomarrow and ill run them on slots 1 and 3 (and no the middle is a 16/8 slot the bottom is only 8) i'm sure the drop wont be much and sould make up for the heat. Other issue is it will cover pins/on-off/reset and the error lcd moving lower but ill try it out. Going Tech Station so it will make things easier to move around
