the sqealing is not the memory clock is the shader clock.. the higher the shader the higher the pitch frequenzy. if you run your fan at 100% your gpu will not burn. by the way the squealing is normal....

As for the squealing, its like a high pitched.... squealing... Dont know how much clearer I can be. Apparently it has to do with the capacitors. I also heard the higher you clock your memory the higher pitched it gets. I was able to stop it in Crysis with Vsync though.
the squealing its from the CRMs they tend to make noise under stress.

I thought the latest driver from nvidia was making cards run hot. That's why they released the new beta driver on their site.

You can use evga precision and make the cards fan run 100% when you run a game and when you close the game it will go back to default.

how would a driver make a card run hotter? drivers are mainly just allowing the card to be recognized but the operating system so the card can be used.

reseat wont get you much lower than 61C. Id suggest making a small water loop for it or buy a aftermarket cooler but at 100% fan the aftermarket cooler might change 7C max

nope, if 61C is you load, then no. My fans are at 80% all the time and my loads at 63/74C load with overclocks. Just keep your fans at 100% and look up the temperature ratings again, not for evga. Like i know my temps are good till 115C, but i never top 75C so im good. So even though evga says it's good to 105, it may actually be good to 120, iunno, just throwing that out there as a thought.
as for the squealing? i thought a fan bearing? iunno.

(btw, my computer is 2 feet away from me on my desk too, but turn on mediaplayer and Crysis or something with vent in the backround, you can't hear a thing )

EDIT: i have like no thermal grease on my GPU's cause i ran out

Because if you do a google search you will see they released a beta driver to fix the heat issue. The driver was causing the cards to overclock some and they was running hotter then normal.

This issue isn't on all the cards but effects a wide range of them.
