Question XFX 7800gt cooler

I am looking to get a quieter cooler for my card (pvt70gude7) .
Here is a picture of what the card looks like.
http://geek.pricegrabber.com/info_pi...terid=14794704
I think it is different than the reference 7800gt so I'm not sure if NV silencer 5 rev 3 or Accelero X1 will fit it because of the black bar running along the side. If anyone knows which cooler fits this card or can recommend a better one, it would be appreciated.

You can easily remove the bar via 2 screws 1 on the upper left hand corner and one on the upper righthand corner.

Just to let you know, I have 2 7800GT's and I put Zalman VF-700Cu's on both of them. They work well and the price is decent. Just FYI.

I am amazed at my NVS5 rev3. It has been a lot cooler the past couple days but my temps under load rarely get over 60C. I have a 6800GT OCed to 420/1100 Mhz. In my opinion I would get the NV over the Zalman because it exhausts the heat right out of the case, in turn it helps ambient temps stay cooler.

well they are about the same on the cooling front, but i would get the silencer, it gets rid of the hot air out of the back. but check 1 thing before you buy it, is the power to your graphics card either 1, 6 pin plug or 1, 4 pin molex? if its the 6 pin, get the cooler it will fit perfectly.
