Yes, it can handle a better VGA cooler

Take a look at the NV Silencer series ( i think series 5)
Or Zalam VF700 CU or VF900CU

i am pretty sure i'll install it cuz i don't want to fry my card playing games
but the card is nice, could use a better cooler on it

if ya get a better cooler, you can probably also unlock some pipes With nvidia cards its really easy, you do it in rivatuner. Youll get alot of better performance, maybe youll get it up to a 6800GT by unlocking and overclocking

sorry, you cannot unlock pipes on a PCI-E 6800 series card.

yu can Overclock tho..
