Yes, it can handle a better VGA cooler
Take a look at the NV Silencer series ( i think series 5) Or Zalam VF700 CU or VF900CU

if ya get a better cooler, you can probably also unlock some pipes
__________________ With nvidia cards its really easy, you do it in rivatuner. Youll get alot of better performance, maybe youll get it up to a 6800GT by unlocking and overclocking

sorry, you cannot unlock pipes on a PCI-E 6800 series card.
yu can Overclock tho..
