Default EVGA 7800GT 256-P2-N518 Drivers

I was wandering how do I remove my old video card drivers? And then what would be the best drivers for a EVGA 7800GT 256-P2-N518? Would I just download them and install after the removal of the old ones?

d/l Driver Cleaner Pro...
Install it
And read the Readme file with it and follow it exactly.
Uninstall old drivers for Add/Remove Programs
disconnect ethernet cable
Reboot into safe mode (w/out networking)
Run Driver Cleaner Pro, first start with Cab Cleaner under the Tools menu,
Then, scroll down and select the Nvidia drivers (Don't select your chipset drivers if you have an Nforce board).
Then, reboot and install the new drivers from nvidia's website

Get this
http://www.drivercleaner.net/ (driver cleaner pro)

Load it, clcik remove drivers (nvidia)
restart
Install new drivers
restart

Remove them in safe mode if you wish, and click remove twice to make sure it got em all

Iced

Edit: Not sure what the best drivers are, do some research before you remove your old ones. And yes you remove old ones, then put new ones in. But retsart your system before you put your new ones in

I have the same card as you and after testing a few drivers, the xtreme g 92.91's have become my favorite. http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?o...=127&Itemid=41

Just scroll down ad choose the 92.91. I haven't tried any of the newer ones yet so feel free to try those but I can vouch for the 92s.

alright I clicked remove NVIDIA Drivers and it popped up with Remove all NVIDIA Drivers including display or Remove all NVIDIA Drivers excluding display or Remove only the following: Display Driver, Ethernet Driver Components, IDE Driver, NForce PCI System Management Driver. Which one if I will be replacing with Storm Lobsters suggestion? OR If you have a different suggestion shoot.
