Default msi nx6600 diamond overclocking...

i've just bought the msi nx6600 diamond edition for quite reasonable price, intenet review's are positive asswell some site's giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars. it has msi d.o.t. (dynamic overclocking technology) giving me a 10% performance boost, it is said that the card would run stable with core clock set up to 540 mhz (standard 400) and mem clock up to 1ghz (standard 800 mhz). i'm quite unfamiliar with the overclocking bussines so could someone help me out in how to overclock the card safely? and i would also like to oveclock my amd athlon xp 2600+ wich is running at 1.91ghz at the moment, i'd like it to pass the 2 ghz...
by the way system specs: motherboard asus a7n8x-e deluxe, corsair 512 mb sdram, maxtor 80 gb s-ata, athlon xp 2600+, msi nx 6600 diamond edition (with d.o.t,...

thx

Welcome to the forums!

For nvidia overclocking, I only trust coolbits, its a registry addition that opens up clock frequency selection in your video settings window. It will autodetect a safe overclock, and depending on voltage and cooling, it does a nice job (cause you can always pick it up from there)

Give me some more good info on your system, try taking a screenshot with CPU-Z, it gives all the great info on RAM and CPU.

I'm interested in your Vcore (cpu voltage), Vddr or Vdimm (ram voltage), Vtt or Vlink (chipset/motherboard voltage), and your current temperatures on the CPU, idle temp and load temp.
