extreme g 75.90 are these any good for the fx series specificaly fx5200 would they out perform the extreme g 71.20c drivers

Well.. Being new drivers im assuming yes, but its the card that really matters. I would say update and see if theres any difference.. And btw scrounge up like $200 and get a 6600GT lol.

i think that the 71.20c's are the best for the 5xxx series but maybe not

im hoping someone who knows more about drivers can answer this question??

i'd swap mine out but its a lot of work for nothing lol

lol actually im upgrading to xfx 6600gt by may and if prices drop enough around the same price the 6600gt is now then ill get the 6800 gt or ultra and i guess ill try them but i would like more input from others on these drivers for my current card

Well in any case there wont be great increases if any. The 5200 is a pretty well outdated card..

well with my current card i set second highest on my dads comp for this card with a score of 11000 something in aquamark 3, 8000 in 3dmark 2001, 336 in 3dmark 2005 and 1700 something in 3dmark 03

those drivers are optimized and made more for the 6 series cards so i dont' think it would be good to try them. your best bet would be the 71.24 drivers

lol man, how are u getting 1700 in 3dmark 2003 when i can only get like 1800 with my 5500 oc'ed pretty good?? lol thats depressing
