Default ATI Tools can't see my GFX card

So yeah, I was planning on OC'ing my video card today and ATI TOols suddenly doesnt recognize my video card. Weird, i've used it before. Happen to anyone else? Used .24 and .26, .26 wouldnt even let me use the 3d artifact scanner.

This is on Vista? You have to disable Device Signing.

To disable device driver signing in Vista, you must set it at boot level by using this command:
bcdedit /set nointegritychecks ON

To re-enable device driver signing, use this command:
bcdedit /set nointegritychecks OFF

I didnt have to do that before.

Used this same program with vista on my first OC and it worked flawlessly.
Maybe there was some update that changed all that eh?

:bump:

I've tried disabling device driver signing, i've uninstalled - rebooted - reinstalled -rebooted - still can't find my 8800. Using Vista and 158.18 drivers.

I used atitools about a month or a month and a half ago with no problems. So maybe the new drivers from nvidia? I'm at a loss.

Try Rivatuner to overclock, perhaps it can recognize your GPU.
