Sounds very silly, but make sure your card is pushed in all the way and fits right. I've had similar problems in the past by having one or two pins just a fraction out of place.

No luck, but I found a piece of zip tie on my video card lol..

Still the same thing..I'll try reinstalling the beta drivers again..

EDIT: Nothing! Ugh..I don't know what is wrong..I used to be able to overclock in AtiTool....now nothing is detecting my clocks and I can't OC!

! I fixed it!

Turns out it was the MOBO drivers.. I had to reinstall.

EDIT: I have some questions about Rivatuner overclocking.

1. Should I allow separate 2d/3d adjustment?
2.If so, do I change all of them? Or just performance 3d?
3. Do I link the core clock with the shader clock?
4. Should I overclock the shader clock?

OC with ati tool and stress test with ati tool aswell.
and when you find a stable oc set it with rivatuner.
and yes, you should oc every thing (core,mem and shader) seperatly and find the max of each first then set all 3 to their max and stress it for whatever ammount of time you can but 30mins is recomended.

I have heard people getting higher stable clocks with Rivatuner versus AtiTool. Does AtiTool overclock the shader too?

that i am not able to tell you coz my card doesnt have any shader units.
someone with a 8800 will be able to tell you soon enough.
