Your pretty much out of luck. The only time I can bench higher than 712/1240 is when the ambient temperatures are near 10-20 degrees F. One time I passed 3dmark 06 at 742/2240. I don't remember what my shader clocks were but the ambient temps were about 5f, core never went above 30C. I was freezing my face off though . I would suggest just unlinking the shader clocks, or edit your bios and under clock the shaders there by a little.

Gaarbear, thanks for info. i think im just gonna stay at this. well good enough for me. my rig already scores a 16500 in 3dmark06. well guesss my money was worth it for this nice oc

Luke, it would probably blow with stock cooler. i dotn have stock coolers. look my sig and you'll know why. plus, my computer sounds likea hoover on turbos

huniper, those temperatures thats you're talking, for me to get it in Malaysia i would have to live in a fridge or freezer. well my room ambient is good enough. and im happy. thanks for your replies guys. appreciate it. well i guess i would start unlinking my shaders.

i do use everest. these are the freqs that they show:
gpu clock (geometric domain):702mhz
gpu clock (shader domain): 1728mhz
memory bus (effective clock): 2322mhz

thanks again guys. feel free to drop any other suggestions

I'm running pretty much exactly the same OC with the same temps and same 3dmark results... you're fine. A 100MHz OC on the core isn't exactly a wall, it's the max OC of the card. Good job btw.

ive only ever taken it upto black pearl speeds in ntune
Are you sure your running at 22c with an ultra? that seems awfully cool. I'm running a modified Koolance gold plated block with a radiator housing 3 120mm fans tht each push 110cfm and my temps idle are about 42c. I do have the superclocked version however, but thats the same as the BP speeds.

I think some cards have different straps. Before when I had my 8800gtx it would have the same straps as yours and when I flashed it to an evga 8800 ultra, it would still have the same straps, but when I flashed it to a normal nvidia 8800 ultra (with a different voltage) the straps changed. Now sometimes, they only change by 1 mhz or sometimes by 10, its weird but hey, it let me reach a higher oc. (Currently at 684, 1728, 1107) BTW: I wish mine was higher but remember, this is actually an 8800gtx not an ultra.

You got to volt mod it, pretty high clocks though. I would be satisfied, considering on my 8800 GTS 640 mb I couldn't get any higher than 660/1100!
