Question Gigabyte 8800GT with Software to raise the Volts!!

http://www.hothardware.com/Articles/...T512HP/?page=8
I finally found the Article that talks about the 8800 GT that has software to raise the volts. So, That being said, It only has a very small range to adjust the Core voltages. Do you think there is any way to edit the files or edit something to further raise the volts to reach even higher than the 800Mhz they achieved by raising the Core Volts to the max
I know they put limits on things like that so People don't fry their cards, But if you wanted to push things even further, There must be a way.
Any one have a clue as to if my idea is even possible, And if so, How could it be done?

If there is software to control the specific votage regulator the card uses, then sure.
However, most 8800s are designed NOT to be able to change volts in software, past what is in the bios. The stock coolers arent designed for higher volts. If you are going for something other than stock cooler, then you'd probably want a regular voltmod anyway.
