Please go to www.nvidia.com to get the driver for the other NVIDIA VGA" I am a fresh install of Windows XP Professional, with no other video card drivers installed. Can anyone help me here? Here is my dxdiag: Code:

that error message might be pointing you in the right direction. Have you tried downloading the drivers for an 8600 from nvidia.com?

Update: computer booted up with the 8600GT in, but I cannot run the setup from the included XFX CD. Windows Explorer keeps crashing or will not start the setup program.

Wow!
