Default Major Driver Problem: GTX 260

Ok, this is weird. Every time I turn on or restart my computer My screen is ok for about 3 or 4 seconds, then all the sudden it turns Reversed Color (you know, like it orange goes blue, its like mostly blue and black color) then the monitor turns off. After that ether the computer restarts and it does it again or the monitor turns back on and I get this message in the bottom of my screen,

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

After that everything is appears to be just fine. No idea whats wrong.

What I have tried:
Uninstalling drivers and using Driver Cleaner Pro, then uninstalling OC software, then installing current drivers for GFX card after restart. Problem still exist.

do you have another Nvidia card you can put in there to see if it happens on a different card?
that should determine if it is the drivers or the card
...might be RMA time

I mean where you press the Start button and press the Red button next to the Lock button, the only way to wake it from that is to press the power button on PC, but its not off though.

Problem still exist. I played some games and did a few test. Temp very low as usual and FPS completely normal with no artifacts. WTH, i hate this.

btw im using EVGA prec tool to OC. I think it might be a combination of using the red button and the OC tool.

The problem started on older drivers and is still around on the newest ones, so I think it has nothing to do with the version.

I thought yesterday that it was fixed, I could restart all I wanted without a problem. I turned my PC off for the night and when I got up to turn it on it happened again.

Considering everything I said, any ideas? Or if you have a question about my PC I will answer it if it helps solve the problem also.

Problem still around

Thing is, the PC run great. I don't get it. Very annoying, also very concerning.

You know, I haven't, I have nothing to suggest that it is the monitor you know? Still I'll look into it...
