Default gpu temperature and fan speed not showing

i have a gtx 260 card... previously everything was working perfectly... gpuz, everest and other tools were able to show the card's temperature, fan speed, and rivatuner had the fan tab for me to adjust the fan speed... but now after a reboot none of these tools are showing the card's temperature and fan speed...also the fan tab suddenly disappear

what is going on here? could it be some sort of sensors in the card are damaged?

Sounds like a driver related issue, have you re-installed the drivers?

i was using 181.22 driver all this while and the tools were working fine with it. was able to adjust fan speed with rivatuner and gpuz, speedfan etc were able to show the temperature until a reboot, so i dont think is driver issues but it wont hurt to give it a try, so i reinstall the driver, boot into safe mode, use driver sweeper, restart then install back the 181.22 driver still not workin... i tried installing the latest driver which is 182.06 but still not working. btw previously the fan speed was at 40% at every startup but now it is fixed at 100%

ok it seems that installing 178.24 driver solved my problem but its really weird cause there was nothing wrong with the 181.22 driver previously...
