Default XFX GTS 250 memory clock?!

OK so, I bought an XFX GTS 250 from eBuyer.com. The website, box and reviews say the memory clock is 2200Mhz. Yet when I view it in RivaTuner it says it is @ 1100Mhz. I have tried to use Google but all it shows is that some have 1100 and some have 2200. Help please?!

its multiplied by 2 ... so the real clock is 1100mhz and effective clock is 2200mhz

for GDDR5 it gets quad pumped ... so 1100mhz is an effective clock of 4400mhz

Old thread, but, I nocited your GTS 250 is clocked quite high. When I get mine a lot lower than that it artifacts a lot! Like 795 Core artifacts a hell of a lot. But you have 830?! Temps are fine, maybe it's just the card? Any ideas guys?

Ahh thought so. It's a rather large gap though 793Mhz core and then it artifacts so much it looks like lighening. Oh well!

Whilst on this topic, would a memory overclock be worth it? I'm running at the max for the core/shader, but I want to know about the memory. I'm aware it produces lots of heat and stuff, but will it be worth it? I play CoD4/5 and stuff like that, no Crysis or anything stupid!
