Default Anyone know any good Overclocking programs for the GTX 285???

Thanks in advanced guys, I'm a total noob at this overclocking but this sight seems to be filled with knowledgeable people. I have the geforce gtx 285, I tried to get coolbit through the registry but i can't find it on my nvidia control panel.. I was wondering if anyone knew any good programs free and safe of course.. Also what are the reasonable clock speeds i can have on it? To anyone who has the time to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated! thanks again guys.

Just get Rivatuner or EVGA's Precision tool. Both of these programs will enable you to overclock your cards. Just remember to click the "apply on startup" button otherwise the settings will not be saved. If you have never done this before i recommend the EVGA tool as it's easy to navigate and use.

As for clock speeds, I wouldn't know what's stable as every card is different, but my guess just to start you off would be to increase your core by 50mhz and shader by 100mhz, then you can stress test, if stable then raise by 5mhz on core and 10mhz on shader. That's what I do. Hope I helped.

And welcome to the forums!
