I run into this everytime I reformat my Machine.

I am always left wondering. What the hell should I go and download lol.

So For the first time in possibly ever, or unknown time, I decided to try some Xtreme G Drivers for mysig rig. I did not go with th brand spanken newest one because I know my game is not that up to date anyway.

So I realize that this obviously does nto give me the Nvidia Control Panel..

So.. SHould I just get rid of these drivers and install the Nvidia ones?

If I stay with these, what program can I use to see those type of settings such as AA, AF and all the more complicated ones that I do not know what they do if not for the little information tips that it shows you.

Also, since I forget which programs I use for all this.

Where to find the Drive Cleraner to completely remove old drivers and Anythign else to that extent that I should use.

and Last thing, HOW the Hell?? Do I boot into Safe mode on this Asus mobo?!

to do safe mode what i do is wait till windows starts to load then hold down the pwr button for 10 sec then restart

im a little tired to answer the Programs question , but I can surely answer the Safe mode one.

like on all boards its still F8 ( unless you tried that and it doesn't work)

if it doesn't you can always force it from windows

go to run > MSCONFIG > theres a safe mode boot option.

@ Hard reboot during Boot? i don't like the sound of that.

i am certainly not going to hold hte power button durring windows boot. that is just silly

need a sticky6 for every program needed for a fresh boot =)

To boot into safe-mode, just hit F8 before Windows boots.
As for the driver issue, have a look at nHancer.

nHancer wont install on my XP Pro 32 bit apparently

not to mention it looks overly complicated lol

I think maybe i will just stick with the Nvidia drivers =(

I was hoping for somethign with a bit more punch
