should I leave the fan speed on auto?

5-10mhz unless your versed in the core and where most people can get, I usally take the average core speed and start 20mhz under where most hit, scan 5 minutes then go up by 10 to find my spot.

As for memory id overclock that first from my 8800GS experince a memory increase does alot more than a core overclock for the 8800GS/9600GSO

I did a 100% full fan speed for my overclock. Then to see if it wold be stable at lower clock's I lowered the fan speed in 5% increments while playing Crysis + other games, and ATI Tool.

old thread but what did you guys get for speeds and such. also how do you set the fan speed. im not used to this card since its my father in laws computer but he loves flight sim and im trying to get it to go faster for the time beeing (needs a new pc haha)

Leave it at stock and slow down the fan. OCing the 9600 will yield no in game performance increase. gl
