GPU-z is wrong. Precision is right.

Can't believe how many people here don't know that Nvidia GPUs overclock in straps.

Here's a task for you. Run a GPU benchmark going up bit by bit. Until you cross over into the next strap, you won't see an increase in the score.

54mhz clock crystal, if the shader frequency isn't divisible by 54mhz evenly then it's not the real frequency.
All other speeds, to simply put it are requested speeds.

You guys don't have to be mean, I think precision sucks as well

I've also heard that 54*54 is the max speed attainable with the 54mhz crystal.

Anyone if that's true?

Well it up and died on me this morning so he's probably right

I just find it odd that GPUz, GPUTool, and even the nVidia drivers themselves report that speed, while Precision is different. I'm sure you can understand how I could blame a program that has had tons of issues in the past over what nVidia themselves are reporting :/

Its still however reporting the wrong core frequency, unless I'm also somehow mistaken and the core runs on some strange strap as well

The core, memory, and shaders all run on straps.

GPU-Z and Nvidia panel reads the frequencies requested by the driver. But Since there are straps, the hardware cannot supply the requested clock until the requested clock passes over a certain frequency.

So GPU-Z/Nvidia Panel shows the clocks requested by the driver, Precision/Rivatuner shows the actual clocks on the hardware

what, and you think Riva is better? You do know they are both made by the same guy, and precision has the same functionality, but in a simpler, less bloated form.
