NOOB Question. Rating just above 5000 in GPU benchmark
I have a noob question. I'm rating just above 5000 in GPU test using 3DMark01 I'm new at OCing but I know this is low comparing to other rigs with similar hardware. I have EVGA 780 SLI, Q6600 OCed to 3.2 ghz, 4gb of memory with 5,5,5,11 in timing I haven't done anything to my 9800gx2. My FSB is rated 1500 mhz, CoreV is 1.26 I don't know if this information matters but could someone guide me in the right direction as to how I can inprove my GPU rating.

yeah 01 is WAY too old to be benching hardware like that, the test results aren't going to have any relevance.
__________________3dmark06 is what you need. heck vantage would be better for that rig but it costs money.

3DMark01 doesnt support SLI and its DX8.Try 05 or 06 to see what your system can reallly do.
But here is a run from my Q6600 and GTX 260 in 3Dmark01 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9418106

As has been mentioned, a more recent version would benefit you much more and give you a more accurate score. By the way, be sure to check out the Site Features guide in my signature.

Ok, I downloaded and tested with 3dMark06. I did see an inprovement in the FPS but I still don't think my system is up to par. Here are the results SM2.0 5564, SM3.0 5435 and for CPU score was 4062. On the CPU test it really dragged. The overall score was just over 13xxx. Any advice?

Thats a normal score for your setup, some cpu ocing, vista tweaking, gpu ocing. And youll be at 15k which is where you want to be with that setup

Oh Ok,My concern is CPU. I'm OCed at 3.2 ghz I dont know why it dragged. Vista twaking in what sense?
