i cant get the stupid drivers to stay installed i run the driver it seems to work fine and it askes me to reboot so i reboot but when i get back into windows it seems like the drivers didnt install it says nothign about nvidia at all i went to the display properties and it says generic non-pnp monitor on standard vga graphics adaptor and this is after the nvidia drivers install ive rebooted 7 times each time i tried to install the drievrs it seems like they install fine but its like their not installing or not saving i really need help and this is a clean install of vista 32 bit home premium

check to make sure you are running with Administrator Privelages. If that doesnt work, make sure you dont have your entire HDD set as Read-Only.

what card you usin? That 2100?

you might need diff drivers

no i got my 9800gtx+ back from evga last night so im trying to install the drivers i just made my accoutn have full admin the the hard drive so im gonna try a reboot once mor will be back to tell ya if it worked or not

ok so it worked i guess i had my c drive set to read only not sure why i didnt do that i guess vista did well thanks for the help guys i really apreciate it

Glad I could be of some assistance. I noticed this Problem with Vista and read-only back when I was modding GTA:SA constantly. I was always having to uncheck that damn box and apply settings
